The folks at hotmail shut down our account without warning or

All we have our addresses, so feel free to re-introduce

The non-explanations from the hotmail staff are so hilarious, we
thought we'd share them, and perhaps scare a few of you away
from ever doing business with microsoft again:

Last night at 3 a.m. I used my account just fine. This morning

Nicolo,
So you won't give me my files back, nor have the decency to
tell me what I did that was so horrible that you had to destroy
all my information?

Roselle,

What 'terms of service" did I violate? I was merely using an
email account for a non-profit community group. What's wrong
with that? I need that information back. Can't I somehow
retreive my files, and then you can shut it down?

Hello Roderick,

No, you can't appreciate my understanding if I have no
understanding of the situation. Please explain. Please answer
the following questions:

A) What "objectionable material"?
The account in question, free103point9@hotmail.com, was used
by a non-profit community media group to link the neighborhood
of Williamsburg, Brooklyn; post events; and organize activities.
People signed up voluntarily at our events to be on our mailing
list to receive email and occasional postcards. There was no
porn, no curse words, nothing.

B) Can I at least get the files back?
Have a day with them. Copy them and move on. Then you'll
never have to deal with my "objectionable material" again.
Thanks

Hello Roderick,

Hotmail doesn't disclose e-mail messages or addresses? I thought
that was the _only_ thing hotmail did. Until last week, you
disclosed e-mail messages and addresses to me whenever I logged
in. But now you won't and won't tell me why. Please asnwer my
questions directly:

a) why did you turn off my account?
b) can I get my files back?

Thanks,
